Followed the many reviews I saw about this place and gave it a try during my stay in Edinburgh. The pastries are very good and the matcha latte was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere is lovely even if there is not so much place to sit :) I highly recommend.

If you are looking for some nice decaf coffee. This place is your number one choice. It tastes like a real decent coffee. I ordered oat milk and it was really nice. The froth was really rich and nice. Truly recommended it!!! And the matcha latte was also really matcha. Not too milky!

These were the best pastries I have ever had. The Milkman has a large assortment, of which I chose the blueberry almond croissant (can be seen in the adornment pic) and the blueberry danish (pictured). Both were amazing. I wanted to try the cinnamon rolls too as they seemed popular, but I didn’t have the guts to go for a third pastry. There is not much space at this location so expect to take it away.

We ordered Lattes and an Almond Croissant. The almond croissant was so delicious and I've been craving one ever since. We lucked out getting a table, but this location is very small, better for takeaway.

I had a fantastic experience at The Milkman in Edinburgh! I tried their iced latte with oat milk, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly balanced, smooth, and refreshing. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a great spot to take a break and enjoy high-quality coffee. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent specialty coffee in the heart of Edinburgh!

Perfect espresso bar for quick stop. Such a lovely place. Great coffee. Good service. Just enough space for sitting.

Lovely hot chocolates, coffees and pastries! Staff were very friendly and with the quantity of people in and out, the service was fast. Only thing I noticed was that the staff didn’t have time to clean the floor much after spillages of food/drink :)

Brilliant little coffee shop with friendly staff. Enjoyed a proper flat white and a cinnamon bun with icing after stopping in at the Milkman. Steady line up, but it moves quickly. There are a small number spaces to eat in and more spaces outside along the windows to watch people walk by.
